Learning through the creative and performing arts
The Arts are of central importance to our vision at The LIPA Primary and High School. Our curriculum is focused upon learning through the creative and performing arts.
We are invested in our Artsmark journey and believe that: ‘every young person should have the opportunity to be creative, and to experience and participate in arts and culture’
We support each child to achieve excellence by ensuring that they have access to outstanding creative practical projects that engage and enthuse their love for learning through the arts.
‘The Artsmark Award is the next stage on our journey to excellence in the creative and performing arts. The process gives us the opportunity to review our extensive provision already in place and be even more strategic in relation to where we go next and how we support other schools and settings. It’s about ensuring our children have access to a wide range of high-quality experiences which help them develop and enjoy their learning. We are fortunate to have a well qualified team in place and look forward to the journey ahead.’
