13.3.20- We have had an amazing science week, the children have shown awe and wonder. Thank you to The Little Laboratory for an incredible assembly to explain more about being Scientists!
12.03.20 - Science Assembly We were all blown away by today's Science assembly! As Captain explorers, we watched in awe at how each experiment evolved. Our children used scientific questioning and ambitious science vocabulary! We love Science.
9.3.20- We celebrated International Women's Day with a Wake Up Shake Up with songs from strong females!
6.3.20- We do love a good fancy dress at our school but Mr Parker loves his golden tickets even more!!
We are the champions! Our children won our first ever dodgeball competition before half term. They were great team players and beat every school they played. Well done!
25.2.20- The winners of the Attendance and Punctuality chose a cinema and popcorn afternoon and they watched the film 'The Queens Corgi' whilst enjoying some popcorn
16.12.19- Thank you so much to our amazing music team for sharing their skills with us to make our Christmas Concernts a huge success! We hope you enjoyed them as much as we did.
18.10.19- Alder Hey Pyjama Day. We raised lots of money and, more importantly, awareness for Alder Hey and the wonderful work that they do. We really enjoyed our cosy day!
17.10.19- We were so proud of Izzy at the Sensory Awards at St George's Hall. Izzy won an award for her outstanding Key Stage 1 SAT's results. Well done Izzy!
22.7.19- Happy 5th Birthday to us! Thank you so much to everybody who joined us for our celebrations and also to Pop Box Events for our beautiful balloons, Cuthberts Bakery for our amazing cake and ASDA for our picnic food and decorations.
16.6.19- Our wonderful Izzy has won a gold medal in her first ice skating competition! We are so proud of her amazing achievements.
24.5.19- We were astounded by the high quality of the Creative Competition for Neurodiversity week. We asked Mark Featherstone Witty to help us judge. Mark could not believe the quality of the work and also the powerful messages that our children were sending out. He said it made him realise how good the world can be. We decided to give every participant a certificate and we will share the prizes out with classes. Thank you so much for all being such wonderful, unique people!
17.5.19- What amazes all of our staff at school is how well our children can recognise their strengths and difficulties and work hard towards improving the things they find difficult. Our assembly on Friday really showed this. We loved celebrating with those who had done well and also our wonderful Captain Individuals!
17.5.19- Spot the difference day! To end our Neurodiversity week, we had a spot the difference day. I wonder if you can spot any of our differences from our pictures? Have a look in our round room to see our ADHD Foundation umbrellas and you can read more about our differences too.
26.4.19- Earth Day at LIPA Primary. Our Eco Council went on a little pick in our local area. We tried to collect as much rubbish as possible to begin to help saving the planet!
15.3.19- Well being for comic relief. We loved our Wake Up Shake Up this morning and then seeing our parents relaxing made things feel even calmer! Thank you so much to everybody for all of your support with the events. We have raised £177, so thank you again.
11.3.19- We have loved being Super Scientists this week and learning all about a famous Scientist and visiting different classes to try out an amazing experiment!
7.3.19- World Book Day was a huge success at LIPA Primary. The effort was amazing from all of the children and staff.
3.3.19- Some of our Year 2 children were very excited to meet the Liverpool team ahead of the Merseyside derby.
Congratulations to Cahill who has now been signed for Everton! All of that hard work is really paying off, we are so proud of you.
19.12.18- Thank you so much for all of the support we received for our Christmas Fair. What a busy day!
18.10.18- We were so lucky to be invited to the Sensory Awards at St George's Hall. The event was such a special occasion, especially as Izzy won an award for her amazing achievements in school. She was one of only a few children to receive the awards at the first ever awards ceremony! We were all so proud of Izzy and so pleased to share in this amazing event.
This week started with a visit from Movema! With Movema, the children became captain performers by celebrating languages through dance.
8.6.18- Congratulations to those who received Head Teacher awards, Times tables Rockstars, Bug Club and Maths awards this week.
