Colours of Kindness

An Art and Well being Project for the LIPA Primary children, families, teachers and the whole school community.

What colour cheers you up? What is your favourite colour? What does that colour mean to you?

Colour is all around us. It affects our mood and our minds. We would love for all of our children to think all about the importance of colour in their home learning this half term.

Each week, we will add updates and new challenges onto the LIPA Primary Art Projects section of the Home Learning on the website and on Twitter.

There are challenges for Phase One (Reception to Year 2) and Phase Two (Year 3 to Year 5)

This week we are thinking about the Gift of Colour and colours that are special to us.

Photo of the Day

We have been inspired by all of your fantastic rainbows to celebrate a colour every week. We will be searching for it, capturing it, and making art with it.  Remember to keep checking the website and twitter for our photo of the day. Jayne and Miss Oakes will be adding photos of things they have found on their daily walks or in their gardens.

Can you find the colour of the week in the wonderful world around you? Send us your photos and maybe you will be the Photo of the Day!

Please remember to keeping sending in all of you brilliant Art so we can feature it in our online LIPA Primary Art Gallery (coming soon)!

Happy Creating Everyone!

Miss Oakes and Jayne Seddon
