Become a Backyard Nature Guardian!

There is a nature crisis in the UK with many plants and wildlife in our own backyards under serious threat!

Backyard nature is inspiring families to tackle the nature crisis and make a real difference to the planet, whether you are tending a potted plant, a small backyard, a garden or even a piece of land in the local area!

' Our goal is to get all children to spend more time enjoying and protecting nature where they live.'

By signing up to be  a 'Backyard Nature Guardian' you will discover lots of easy ideas to help 'protect' your patch and take on seasonal missions that focus on helping out wildlife that really needs our help! Missions include 'Save the Bees', 'Feed the Birds' and 'Welcome the Bugs'!

'Spending time in nature can play a pivotal role in helping children grow up to become happy, healthy adults.

The great outdoors provides an open playground for children to have fun and learn life-long skills - from balance and coordination to empathy and creativity ...'
