Hands in Harmony Choir

After their performance at Toxteth Annexe for the Liverpool School of Sanctuary Awards, the Hands in Harmony Choir were invited to Southport to perform for the Sefton schools awards ceremony.

The children rehearsed lots to make sure that they really knew their performance and were so excited to have been asked to such a special event. When we arrived there was nowhere to eat our lunch because it was raining and the kind staff at the Pavillion café allowed us to eat in there.

The event was really special and lots of children from the Sefton Schools performed but we were the only school invited to represent Liverpool.

The Mayor was there along with other representatives from the Local Authority, and the event also had Levi Tafari performing some of his poems.
