LIPA High School opened in September 2021, when we welcomed our first cohort of Year 7 pupils. Many of them were continuing their LIPA journey from our primary school, but a small number came from other primary schools across Liverpool. We expect that the same will apply in subsequent years of entry.
Read a welcome letter from our founder, Mark Featherstone-Witty, which outlines LIPA High School’s offer for Year 7 entry.

Open Event for 2022 entry
We regret that we will be unable to hold our planned open day on 7 December 2021.
Given that the new COVID-19 variant, Omicron, could be more infectious and that current vaccines will be less effective against it, we have undertaken a risk assessment and have decided for health and safety reasons that we should not go ahead with the event as we had planned it. We are very sorry for any inconvenience this causes you. It is not a decision we took lightly and was driven by the need to prioritise the health and safety of you - our visitors - and our staff and pupils.
We understand how important it is to get a feel for a new potential school, so depending on how things progress with the Omicron variant, we hope to be able to welcome you into our schools again for a visit in the Spring term. We will let you know on our website when this is possible.
