We are so proud of our Reception children! They put on a fantastic Fairytale Nativity and really impressed their teachers, parents and the older children. Well done, Captain Performers!
26.11.19- The Ladybirds helped George to reach his one million steps total by running 33,800 steps!
20.11.19- Reception have had loved being Scientists today! We were Captain Explorer in our very first experiment. We talked all about what an experiment is and tested lots of different materials to see which would be best to help save Humpty Dumpty from becoming a cracked egg!
14.11.19- Reception thoroughly enjoyed their visit from the Storybarn. Our visitors were so impressed with our amazing energy and fantastic singing. We were so proud of our LIPA Primary role models!
12.11.19- Odd Sock Day in Reception...
6.11.19 Today Reception followed instruction on how to make porridge. We made porridge for goldilocks and left it in our role play area. However when reception went to lunch and came back our porridge that we made was gone! Children then become Captain Problem Buster and discovered an Elf on our class window! The elf has a very important message for us which told us that Mr Parker had eaten our porridge! We just couldn't believe it, can you?
24.10.19 Reception children loved our lesson today as they got to meet Pantosaurus. Pantosaurus is a friendly well known dinosaur from the NSPCC! He helps us understand the importance of keeping our private parts safe. We decided to make everyone aware of this and decorated and made our own pants.
14.10.19 Reception have loved learning all about phonemes, they have become Captain in Charge and practiced writing phonemes all by themselves! They have even began to write CVC words. We are so proud of all their lovely work. They are working so hard.
25.09.19 Reception have love learning all about our body and the importance of it! Children became Captain Explorer and Captain Creative as they explored what the inside of our body looks like and then decided to create it! How amazing is their body that they have made, every child really is an artist!
