Closely working with Trinity Primary School Lancashire over an academic year.
The Head Teacher at Trinity, Tony Currie is a school Governor at LIPA Primary and High School. Likewise, our Head teacher Greg Parker is a on the governing board for Trinity. In their capacity as critical friends, it was decided that LIPA could offer support to Trinity, specifically to improve the quality of Art provision. A package of support for a full academic year was designed covering:
As Art subject lead, it has been amazing working with Jayne. She has developed teacher CPD through different skills and resources. There have been so many positive comments from these sessions and many teachers have put these new skills into practice into their own lessons.
This has such a positive impact for the children, and it has been brilliant to see the progression the children have made in their art sketch books. The children absolutely love Jayne coming into class and have learnt many different skills and techniques from her. They are also very keen to show off their work to her too! The children are definitely enjoying their Art lessons at Trinity.
