10.3.20- Look at what we have been learning in English and Maths today...
9.03.20 It's Science Week! We had such a wonderful time swapping classes and sharing our science knowledge. Y1 Starfish went to Phase 2 to explore all about human body parts. The children celebrated each others differences and similarities whilst learning scientific facts on how our human bodies function.
5.3.20- We loved having our parents join us today for the final Maths United session.
4.3.20- Year 1 have been busy investigating the seasons in Science.
10.10.19- World Mental Health Day! Year 1 made their own Worry Monsters who can eat their worries and help them to feel a little bit better.
3.10.19- Year 1 met a real life superhero today! Mrs Williams! She is a super mum! She brought in her 2 children aged 3months and 18months. She told us all about her super powers that she needs to be a mum. Thank you Mrs Williams!
13.9.19- Here are some pictures of fishing some kind words to read and say to our friends. We also have our 'explore' challenge where we have been using our sense of hearing to match the picture to the sound
Year 1 worked really hard on their listening and instructional skills. They worked carefully with a partner to give and follow clear instructions to create a picture. They are super listeners! Year 1 have been working hard during their rainbow work to create "something precious". They all created something different to their friends and were very proud of their achievements! Each child then told the class what they had made.
