9.12.22- Year 6 showcased their learning to their families today and immersed them into the 1940s. Well done year 6 we have never been so proud!
1.12.22- Year 6 have been hot seating in English, becoming a newspaper reporters for the morning to question witnesses about events surrounding the rescue of a boy scooped to safety from the Mediterranean Sea.
7.11.22- Year 6 enjoyed a visit to Toxteth library today.
31.10.22- Year 6 really enjoyed their Halloween Drama workshop today.
21.10.22- Year 6 learnt so much today about how Liverpool was affected during World War 2.
11.10.22- Year 6 have had a fabulous afternoon being Captain Imaginative making Anderson Shelters.
10.10.22- Year 6 enjoyed some meditation time during World Mental Health Day.
5.10.22- Year 6 have been enjoying their creative RE lesson making Diwali lamps and Rangoli patterns. Our question is: How is Diwali celebrated by Hindus and Sikhs?
3.10.22- Year 6 visited Toxteth Library today as part of their celebrations for Black History Month. The Year 6 children met the Likambi family; three young, aspiring and bestselling authors. They even met the Lord Mayor whilst they were there!
27.9.22- Year 6 are really enjoying using the project corner/table to support their learning in PBL. Kenny loves our project work and is making a book about WWII at home with his Dad. 😊
25.9.22- One of our Year 6 pupils has become a famous model...
22.9.22- In Science we have been making telescopes out of paper to explore how light travels in a straight line. In Art we worked with Jayne and were sketching the bombed-out church to explore line, tone and pattern.
9.9.22- Year 6 have been focusing on the Colours of Kindness this week and incorporated Captain Inquisitive, Captain Imaginative and Captain Disciplined.
