Staff Vacancies

We provide children with a broad and balanced curriculum and have a particular focus on project based learning and the creative and performing arts. We currently have over 200 children from Reception to Year 3 and we plan, ultimately, to have approximately 350 children in the School. We aim to immerse children in the creative and performing arts to enrich teaching and learning across the curriculum. 


Cleaning position

10 hours p.w. 38 weeks term-time plus 3 weeks

£8.35 per hour plus holiday pay (£3,923 p.a.)


We have a vacancy for a cleaner who is able to clean to a high standard, is reliable, hardworking, flexible and conscientious to join our established cleaning team. You will support our teaching in the Primary School and must be available during the 37 term-time weeks.


Training can be provided where necessary for applicants with limited experience. Hours of work are expected to be:

Monday - Friday

6.00am – 8.00am


Essentials requirements

  • Ability to meet LIPA standards in cleaning and attendance;

  • Must be reliable;

  • Must be able to obtain enhanced DBS clearance satisfactory to LIPA learning group;

  • Ability to work un-supervised;

  • Flexibility in working times;

  • Conscientious;




    Due to this being a 38 week term-time position, you are not allowed to take holidays during Primary school term-time. The additional 3 weeks of 10 hours will be worked at a time agreed with your line manager, usually in the week following the end of the school term.


    Initially, the equivalent of 22 days pro rata in addition to pro rata bank holidays and extra efficiency days (normally 3 per year), rising to 25 days pro rata after three completed years of service, and rising to 27 days pro rata after five completed years of service. These days are converted into pay and added to the annual salary below.


Salary­ is equivalent to:


£8.35 per hour plus pro rata holiday and bank holiday converted into pay.

This equates to an annual salary of £3,923 p.a. split equally over 12 months, paid on a monthly basis.
