Learning through the creative and performing arts
Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment. If, as a parent of a pupil attending this school, you require a paper copy of the information on this website, we shall provide this free of charge upon request.
Our Headteacher, Greg Parker, has graced the pages of this term's Educate Magazine with a look at a typical Week in the Life of LIPA Primary School.
You can read the article here - http://www.educatemagazine.com/greg-parker-headteacher-lipa-primary-school/ - or pick up a free copy from school or at your local supermarket.
Just a reminder that the school photographer will be here tomorrow (Friday 8th May).
They will arrive early and will be taking the children's pictures during the day.
Regards
The LIPA Primary Team
International Dance Day was a huge success. The children really enjoyed it and were exhausted by home time, some even fell asleep in the hall at the end of the day!
We loved having Donna and Helene over from 'big' LIPA and the children showed off their dancing and singing skills to them.
I have attached lots of pictures from International Dance Day to our Reception class pages and I hope you enjoy looking at them.
The children learnt lots of styles of dance including Chinese, Bollywood, Street, Flamenco, Ribbon and even party dances!! They also took part in 'making marks to music' which everybody enjoyed.
Thank you for your support with the children's outfits on the day, they really looked the part.

We had Paul Bradshaw from Liverpool Local Authority visit the school in April to talk to the children and parents about E-Safety.
Tablets, computers and such like provide us with a range of exciting opportunities to develop children's learning however Paul's input was excellent in highlighting the dangers of the internet and how we can all ensure that children develop their skills to use it safely.
Paul's excellent Powerpoint resource and the NSPCC's booklet 'Helping to Keep your Child Safe Online booklet' can be found in the E-Safety section of our website.
