Learning through the creative and performing arts
Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment. If, as a parent of a pupil attending this school, you require a paper copy of the information on this website, we shall provide this free of charge upon request.
On Saturday 7th November, Helene Santamera (Blossom's mum) and I will be going down to Calais with 12 other volunteers to offer a variety of aid for the refugees. The group will be supporting in ways such as interpreters, advisors and warehouse and aid workers.
We would like to make the most impact we can during our visit and so will be collecting things to take with us such as:
Warm blankets
Brown packing tape
Hygiene items e.g. toothbrushes, toothpaste, soaps, sanitary towels, shampoos, anti-bacterial gels, nappies, deodorant and antiperspirant
The team also have a website for any donations to be sent to, here is the link if anybody would like to donate any money to help the refugees.

We have had a super time during our superhero training camp. The children have amazed us with their interest and enthusiasm.
Now it is time to graduate!
On Thursday 22nd October 2015, we will have a Superhero Graduation Day!
We would like the children to come to school dressed as any superhero - please do not worry about going to too much expense for this, as we have attached some examples of some DIY costumes.
The children will take part in various activities during the day and we would like to invite you to join us in our celebrations at 2.30pm.
We will share some of the work the children have been doing during our project and show off our costumes.
Thank you for all of your support for our first half term in Year 1.
We are holding Open Evenings for parents, carers and guardians of children due to start Reception in September 2016 or 2017, and invite you to visit us to find out how we can help your child develop a life-long passion for learning.
Using the creative and performing arts to inspire and energise our project-based learning approach, we provide a solid education in all key subjects to prepare our pupils for success and happy lives, now and in the future.
Our Open Evenings will be held on:
Monday 12 October 2015 - drop in between 4pm and 7pm
Thursday 3 December 2015 - drop in between 4pm and 7pm
Our Open Evenings are drop-in events, but to register your attendance on either date, please call our School Reception on 0151 958 0020 or email us at info@lipaprimary.org
