Based in the centre of Liverpool, our school, sponsored by The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, opened in September 2014. We provide children with a broad and balanced curriculum and have a particular focus on project-based learning and the creative and performing arts. We currently have over 300 children from Reception to Year 5 and we plan, ultimately, to have approximately 364 children in the School. We aim to immerse children in the creative and performing arts to enrich teaching and learning across the curriculum.
We wish to appoint the following:
Pupil and Family Support Worker
31.25 hrs per week, 38 weeks per year.
Actual salary £15,168 - £16,517 p.a. (equivalent to £21,814 - £23,754 p.a. pro rata)
Your role will be to develop highly effective relationships with parents to support them and their children to fully engage with all aspects of school life.
In addition to sound numeracy and literacy skills, you will have experience of working with primary age children. You will need to be able to demonstrate excellent people skills and an ability to develop trusting relationships with parents. You must be competent in the use of ICT and have the ability to work with minimum supervision and within a team.
