Next week is Mental Health Awareness Week. As a school, we have decided to take action and help our children to understand stress and ways to deal with their feelings. The children have thought of ways to challenge the teachers and challenge themselves to raise awareness for Mental Health.
On Friday 18th May (next week), we would like to invite children to come into school in sports clothes. We have planned a day full of challenges and will be discussing ways to help us when we may feel stressed. Please bring a £1 donation.
LIPA Primary staff have also accepted the challenge to raise awareness of Mental Health and raise money for the school by walking up Moel Famau in Wales this Saturday 12th May. You will see donation buckets in the foyer and any donations are welcome to help us achieve our Saturday Climbing Challenge! All donations will be used to develop the underground playground area of our school, creating calm spaces and friendship zones.
Thank you for all of your support.
