Learning through the creative and performing arts
Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment. If, as a parent of a pupil attending this school, you require a paper copy of the information on this website, we shall provide this free of charge upon request.
This year we have been extremely lucky and have been given some free tickets to the preview show of the annual LIPA Christmas Concert on Monday 4th December, 7.30pm at the Paul McCartney Auditorium at LIPA. This is a brilliant opportunity to start Christmas and will feature some fantastic performances of classic Christmas songs as well as some future classics written by the LIPA students. We have decided to award a pair of tickets to 7 lucky children with an attendance of 97% and above (our school target) at random.
We will keep you updated on the winners! Good luck everybody.
Dear parents, guardians and children,
We are joining in with the Radio City shoebox appeal this year and also sharing some of our boxes with Syrian children who are being resettled in our area. Please can you bring your boxes to school by Friday 15th December 2017 with a label on to say who you are aiming your box at.
A letter will be sent out this week with some additional information.
Thank you for your continued generosity!
Our Christmas Fair will be taking place from 3pm to 6pm on Wednesday 13th December 2017.
Our Summer Fair raised over £1500 and once again, we are calling on volunteers to make our Christmas Fair a truly magical event and an even bigger success! You are all so generous this time of year and in addition to your kind donations we would be extremely grateful for your help on the day itself. It’s impossible to make a success of the fair without having extra hands to man the stalls and games so we’re hoping that if we can get more volunteers we can make it even more enjoyable for everyone involved – new parents especially, please don’t be shy!

Thank you to everybody who took the time to apply for the school council. We were amazed by how many children applied and their innovative ideas. It was difficult to make a decision and so we created a points scoring system to short list the applications. The children who have been shortlisted will receive a letter for stage 2 of the process which needs to be completed by Monday 27th November. If your child hasn't been shortlisted this time, please do not worry. They have received a certificate to say well done, it was a big deal to apply and we are so proud of everybody who did! Also, the school council will change each year and therefore they can reapply again next year.
I look forward to updating you with our new council members in the coming weeks.
We have all been wearing odd socks today to show everybody that it is ok to be different and to raise awareness about anti-bullying. Bully busters came into our school to talk to us about looking after each other and ourselves.
